There is an information session for the Summer Literacy Kits on June 22 at noon.....
SUMMER LIT KIT Poster
REGISTRATION
Summer Lit Kits are coming! This "program in a box" is designed to help reduce a child's loss of literacy skill by helping summer camps, programs, and parents/guardians to integrate literacy into their daily activities. Developed for ages 4-12. Session will include the history of the kit and information about using it, followed by a training from Ottawa Public Library about supporting reading in children.
During the session you will be able to request a printed guide and physical kit. While this information session will be in English only, the kit is available in English and French.
