As part of World Autism Awareness Month in April, speaker, author, and autism consultant Judy Endow will lead a virtual session for families and staff on the topic “Autistically Thriving: Living a Self-Determined Life Based on Autistic Neurology.” This event will explore:
- Focusing on strengths to understand who autistic people are and how they can flourish
- Autistic thinking styles and ways of processing information
- New ways to think about and implement autistic support
Judy will share many examples highlighting how autistics can truly thrive when they are honored for who they are and supported for who they want to be. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions at the end of the session.
